Hello!  I hope you safely survived the impact and aftermath of Sandy.  My thoughts are with those who were hit hard.  (I’m taking refuge at a good friend’s who luckily avoided power loss.)

Returning to our apartment and packing an overnight bag made it obvious that I have certain seasonal wardrobe staples.  These are my top ten picks that I can’t live without.

Fall hues

Bewitching by Revlon (you can likely find this in your neighborhood drugstore but also here), quick dry base coat by Revlon (Duane Reade or Ulta)

Hello hello!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  As you know, mine was a lazy one which means I had time to paint my nails!  I have fallen in love with this deep red raspberry hue.  It’s rich and pretty, but perfect for fall.  Getting your nails done with girlfriends is always a treat.  But, sometimes there’s nothing nicer than pouring yourself a glass of wine, watching some fluffy TV, and filling your home with the smell of nail polish!

PS.  I try hard to protect my nails from damage and discoloration.  I used a Revlon base coat this time, but if you have a favorite base coat please share!
