Happy New Year, everyone!  I’m so excited to welcome 2013 and whatever adventures it has in store.  And, thanks to all my viewers; I can’t wait to share what lies ahead. <3

Winter is not holding anything back this year.  It is frigid and windy.  It gets so cold I start making excuses to stay home.  When my BFF invited me to her place for a hangout and some hotpot, I couldn’t turn her down!  My solution is to layer and bundle up!

This chunky knit sweater adds a lot of richness, texture and warmth.  I keep the bottom black to offset the depth and let the top take the focus.  I’m in love with this men’s scarf from J.Crew Factory.  The pattern is so clean and bold.  Since the rest of the outfit is neutral, it adds just the right amount of pop.  I like adding these tights that have a tonal design; just a subtle something extra.   (Plus, my mom gave them to me for Christmas.  Thanks, mom!)

Thanks again to all my viewers.  I have a lot planned for this little fashion illustration blog; I hope you’ll love it!  Happy 2013!!
