2013 Spring Essentials: Illustrated Shopping List

Hello, hello (from Seoul!)  You all know I’ve had spring on the brain and fortunately my trip to Seoul presented the perfect shopping opportunity.  Today’s illustration: my top five “must have” items for Spring 2013–what I’m on the prowl for while shopping in Korea.

I return will be returning to Hong Kong in two days; it feels like my time in Seoul has flown!!  During college I was lucky enough to study in Seoul for six months.  In 2011, I returned for about a month.  This is my third trip and I still love visiting Korea!!

When it comes to jewelry, I’m pretty timid. I feel self conscious about choosing pieces that are overbearing or inappropriate.

So, when Tom’s Accessories asked about a collaboration – I was hesitant. I’ve never been the type to shop specifically for jewelry. But, I loved the site and felt it would be a great way to push me out of my comfort zone.

Fall ’13 NYFW Illustrated – J.Crew

So… you had to know I was going to illustrate from J.Crew’s Fall 2013 show. (Sadly) a large portion of my paycheck goes right to the J.Crew bottom line. (You’re welcome, stockholders. Wait – I don’t think J.Crew is traded otherwise I would be all over that.)

J.Crew peeps are just doing everything right!! It’s so effortless and stylish. I love the bold colors, the awesome pattern mixing, and the great textures. Plus, all the accessories and soft goods are SPOT on!! The J.Crew girl is just so cool and chic; well… I just want to be her!

I know I need to be posting about my trip; Hong Kong is an awesome place. There’s gorgeous views and delicious food everywhere. I’ve been updating on Instagram and have some good ideas for some posts; so check back soon!
